Founders Ushi Schick and Zoe Pinksa were both drawn to interior design through personal connections and a deep love for creating thoughtful, beautiful spaces.
Ushi’s journey began in childhood, where she had a front-row view of design and construction projects, sparking her passion for the field. After graduating from The University of Michigan, she pursued a career in public relations and marketing while studying interior design at Parsons School of Design and UC Berkeley Extension, eventually founding Ushi Schick Interiors.
Zoe’s path was inspired by her grandfather, an interior designer known for his eclectic style, but she initially followed a different route, earning degrees in finance and international business from the University of Colorado Boulder and working in business consulting for Accenture. Over time, she shifted to interior design, studying at the Art Institute of Colorado and UC Berkeley Extension, and later founded Zoe Lee Design.
Though we each led successful design firms, our years of collaboration revealed that our combined strengths could offer even more. Ushi’s love for blending styles and layering textures, pairs perfectly with Zoe’s fresh mix of modern and traditional elements. Together, we offer a more creative, efficient, and streamlined approach to design, providing our clients with an elevated, personalized experience that reflects both our shared passion and the legacies that shaped us.
